Bio: David Kent grew up in Bennettsville, SC and moved to the lowcountry after college. He started the Real Buyer’s Agent in 1995 with his business partner Cece Stricklin because he strongly felt home buyers deserved equal representation when purchasing a home and has dedicated much of his career to this mission. David has held various leadership roles at the local, state, and national levels of the Realtor Association. David is committed to further education about buyer representation and elevating the standards within the real estate profession. He has acted on the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC) advisory board since 2008 and was inducted into the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC) hall of fame in 2010. David was appointed to the Charleston County planning commission in 2010. David resides in Mt Pleasant with his wife, Minou, and youngest daughter Hanna. While his oldest daughter Alexandra attends Clemson University.

In His Free Time: When not working with clients, David enjoys getting out on his boat, exercise, cheering on the Clemson tigers, playing with his dog Ziggy, and taking trips with his family.
